Elderberry Wine
Sieved out the Berries that have all floated to the top.
Then decanted the juice into the demijohn with a ladle. Added only 2 oz of sugar as I was not watering it down into 2 demijohns.
I threw away about 1 litre with the sediment and could of got another 1.5 litres if I squeezed all the fruit.
It tastes of smooth elderberry at the moment. Need to put it to bed in a dark warm corner!

Added 2 1/2 lb of sugar White wine yeast (which is all I had! I have no claret yeast, hopefully this will work ok)
It smelt like norfolk punch last night, but now it smells like gone off lychees! which is odd.

Collected just over 4lbs of Berries from Stourbridge Grove Allotments.
Stripped off berries into a sink of water. And left to soak for an hour, to kill off bugs and allow green berries and floaty bits to float to the top. Seived those off.
Added them to the fermentation bucket with 8 oz of chopped raisins.
Juice of 1 lemon and 1 Orange.
