A schoolboy error

Thanks for inviting me to join your master brewers gang. Your posts have given me renewed courage after a minor disaster with my last batch. A careless mistake which I feared could cost me 40pts of delicious beer… I was brewing up some Wherry for the 1st time and was very excited at the prospect, but was devasted to discover that after waiting 2 weeks for the beer to clear I’d left the brew-belt switched on for a fortnight! So gutted I couldn’t bring myself to taste it. It looked pretty cloudy but a week it appeared to have cleared a little but tasted pretty sour. Several weeks later and it doesn’t taste too bad. Not great, a little insipid, but drinkable. I was worried I’d slow cooked the lot, but it appears not. Can anyone tell me what I did to the brew? Meartion
