Woodfordes’s Great Eastern Ale kit (made by Muntons). Made it 6 days ago (last Tuesday); it stopped bubbling yesterday. Added 90g brewing sugar (dissolved in warm water) to the bucket whilst stiring gently. Then siphoned into bottles and the mini-keg (using two new handy devices pictured above: a u-bent siphon that avoids the sediment and a valve outlet that only opens when resting on the base of a bottle; third device also used was a clip to hold the siphon in the barrel.) I’m hoping the sugar distributed itself enough. Will monitor plastic bottles filled either side of the mini-keg as the keg has been sealed until opening time now! Tastes good but not clear and clean - needs settling now. Dylski
